Welcome to the Kielder Forest Rally website.
A new event from some well know and very experienced organisers, many faces being familiar to you if you have competed on the former Pirelli International Rally.
The Kielder Forest Rally will run on Saturday 25th April 2020, and will be a compact event entirely based within the Kielder area, meaning no long drive out from a start in Carlisle.
We will be offering a National A/B format, and giving 2WD competitors the chance to run at the front of the field – this will include competitors from the FUCHS Lubricants Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship, the HRCR Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship, the Motorsport UK 2020 English Rally Championship supported by SEACON UK, FUCHS Lubricants RACRMC Asphalt/Rally 2 Mixed Surface Rally Championship, the Crew25 Rally Championship, the ANECCC SG Petch Stage Rally Championship and all modern 2WD cars (not competing in one of the mentioned championships).
All competitors will compete over the same stages with around 44 stage miles on classic Kielder forest tracks. One major change, that we think you’ll all appreciate, is a massive reduction in the use of artificial chicanes. We have tried to select routes that avoid the need for them, where possible.
Spectators can view any of the stages for FREE. We will be publishing maps to the spectator car parks and stages in the weeks leading up to the rally – so please do keep checking the website.
Our top priority is SAFETY. We cannot stress enough as to how important that this is to us. So we ask that if you are thinking of coming to marshal, to spectate or even participate in the rally – that you visit our Safety page and read it thoroughly. Thanks.
We look forward to seeing you out in Kielder forest!
