Pirelli Power Lifts Brampton’s Bank Holiday

Brampton
The bunting is going up in Brampton’s main street and market place as the town rolls out the welcome mat for the Pirelli International Rally which will roll up on Sunday for a ceremonial finish slap bang in the middle of the little market town and the rally organisers are expecting a huge crowd of rally enthusiasts and sightseers to join the local population to welcome the cars as they cross the finish line right outside Brampton’s historic 17th century Guildhall. Rally fever really has taken over and a walk down the town’s main street sees large banners outside several of the town’s hostelries and shops, bright rally posters in many of the shop windows and by the time the rally arrives these will be joined by a giant, 60 foot,  TV screen showing all the action from the rally and the Pirelli Rally Simulator where spectators can drive a virtual rally car with the day’s best time winning one lucky enthusiast the opportunity to drive a real rally car at the Forest Rally Experience while, if they are fortunate to be the fastest at the end of the season they could be going on a unique trip to the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB. The local traders are really entering into the spirit of the rally with several cafes opening especially, a barbecue outside one of the town’s hostelries while a local business is providing a power wash so that the cars can scrub off the mud and dust of the forest stages and arrive at the finish line in pristine condition. Spectators can join in all the fun and excitement of The Pirelli International Rally from 12 noon  and see all the Brampton attractions while welcoming the cars , see the winners receive their awards and take photographs and collect autographs, it promises to be a really big day in Brampton!
