Spectacular Spectating on Stunning Stages

The Pirelli Carlisle Rally will offer spectators, and the hundreds of enthusiasts who flock to watch the competing cars, an unprecedented view of the high speed action with some superb venues which have been specially selected so that everyone can get a really good look as the cars speed by, while knowing that they are viewing from a safe and secure location. The organising team behind the rally have gone out of their way  to find some great vantage points and they have been assisted in no small way by Forest Enterprise who have been busy trimming trees back to open up wider viewing angles, in some cases almost 2 miles of the stage is visible,  constructing footpaths, and in some cases even bridges, so that spectators can access the best viewing locations. All the designated viewing areas are located just a short walk from the conveniently located forest car parks making getting to the action a very simple and straightforward affair. There will be car parking and viewing facilities on every stage of the Pirelli Carlisle Rally and with the cars passing over each stage twice, spectators can look forward to over 3 hours of non-stop high speed action. A spokesman for the rally organisers said, “ We are very conscious of the added atmosphere that spectators bring to the Pirelli Carlisle Rally and we have done our very best to cater for them. We want everyone to have a great day out but above all, we want them to be safe, so we have chosen the spectator areas, not only for the great view that they give but also because they are in safe locations. With the superb entry that this year’s rally is attracting we are sure it is going to be a wonderful day out for everyone” The Pirelli Carlisle Rally takes place on Saturday 25^th April, the cars leave the start ramp in Carlisle city centre at 10:00am with all the rally’s “Special stages” located in the Kielder Forest complex.
